| Good day: My name is Michael Castro, owner of Horizon Shipping Agency (HSA). HSA was opened to service the Ports of Corpus Christi and Point Comfort, Texas. I have worked exclusively at both ports as Agent, Operations Manager and on to Port Manager with three large international ship agency companies. The motivation for me to open an agency was due to an obvious need of personal attention to vessels and principals within the agency industry. Because of the companies I?셝 worked for; I was limited as to how to satisfy that need due to the companies ?쐂irection??or focused attention. Though there are good reasons and uses for large agency companies there exists just as large a need for agencies who can apply personal attention to each vessel and principal, because there isn?셳 great competition for attention from the working agent or office. When visiting a large Petroleum Company, it was said to me that they didn?셳 hire companies but people. That statement has stayed with me to this day and is the hallmark of this new boarding agency; ?쏷hey hire people not companies??
